Couples counseling is a popular option for couples going through a difficult time. Couples may be dating, partnered, engaged, married, or separated. My work with couples is tailored to meet the specific needs of your relationship.
In couples counseling, I will work with you and your partner in a safe, nonjudgmental setting to identify specific areas of conflict and/or aspects of your relationship that you would like to change. Couples counseling will also help you and your partner develop an action plan to improve each partner’s satisfaction and contentment in the relationship.
All expressions of love are welcome! Let’s work together to restore trust, improve communication, transform conflict, break out of bad patterns, restore physical intimacy, and cultivate the relationship that you and your partner desire.
What will we do in couples counseling?
In couples counseling, you and your partner will explore how your individual backgrounds, beliefs, thoughts, and behaviors may impact your relationship in both positive and negative ways. You will have the opportunity to address immediate, pressing concerns, as well as, develop actions plans and strategies to improve the overall happiness and satisfaction of you and your partner.

Is therapy right for US?
Choosing couples counseling can feel overwhelming. It may feel risky to admit that things are not going well in your relationship. If you’ve never been in therapy before, it can feel confusing and challenging to get started. Furthermore, if you have developed a pattern of disconnectedness, it can be easy to put your relationship on the back burner.
Relationship challenges are normal - everyone experiences them. Do not be afraid to reach out for help. Let’s create a path to healing your relationship together.
